We have an exciting opportunity for an Admin Apprentice to join our busy team and begin your career in the NHS.
The role of the post holder is to provide general administrative support to the Rheumatology team. This will include responsibility for filing, answering the phone, responding to emails, maintaining systems and databases, creating and maintaining documents, arranging appointments for Rheumatology patients, Typing Rheumatology letters to patients and GP's, dealing with enquiries from managers, staff and service users.

Main duties of the job
Communicate with secretarial and clinic teams regarding patients procedure details and instruction, at times communicating directly with patients to arrange
Receive correspondence related to patients e.g. via email and telephone
Request and receive medical records if required and and tracer appropriately
Compile agendas and circulate minutes for Specialty Business and Audit meetings
Interpret and transcribe medical correspondence
Ordering and receipting of stationary
Maintenance of repeat prescriptions for patients
