Salary: £63,000 – £68,000 per annum
Contract: Permanent
Location: Bradford (hybrid working with regular travel to schools)

Mission Search is supporting a truly purpose-led organisation within the education sector who are seeking to appoint an exceptional Head of HR to join their growing organisation entering its next exciting phase of development.
This is a senior leadership opportunity to shape and lead a high-performing HR function, driving excellence across multiple school sites. Based in Bradford, the role offers hybrid working with flexibility and regular travel to schools as required.
The Opportunity
Reporting into the executive leadership team, the Head of HR will lead the HR strategy and oversee the delivery of a high-quality, customer-focused HR service across the organisation. You will play a critical role in enabling operational excellence, supporting workforce development, and ensuring best-in-class people practices.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and develop the HR function, ensuring a proactive, strategic approach to people management
* Drive continuous improvement across all HR processes, policies and systems
* Provide expert advice and guidance to senior leaders and school-based teams
* Oversee employee relations, workforce planning, organisational development and change management
* Champion inclusion, wellbeing and professional development initiatives
* Ensure compliance with employment legislation and sector-specific regulations
About You
The successful candidate will:
* Have significant experience in a senior HR leadership role within education, ideally within a MAT
* Demonstrate strong strategic capability alongside operational delivery
* Be values-driven, with a clear moral purpose and commitment to improvement
* Have a track record of leading and developing high-performing teams
* Be confident building relationships with senior stakeholders across dispersed sites
