We have an exciting opportunity for a permanent, full-time (36.25 hours) Social Worker to join our Throughcare Aftercare Team. This rewarding post offers the chance to support young people as they move from care towards independence.

Working within a dedicated Aberdeenshire-wide team, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality support to young people who have previously been Looked After and Accommodated. Although the team is geographically dispersed, we are extremely supportive, connected, and committed to one another, sharing a strong ethos of collaboration and reflective practice.

Our work is firmly grounded in ‘The Promise’, with a clear focus on promoting positive, aspirational pathways for young people with care experience.

You will work in partnership with young people and a wide range of professionals, including Social Work, Education and Health services, Police, accommodation providers, and training and employment services, ensuring that young people can access the right support, resources, and opportunities at the right time.
