Support Worker- Positive Behaviour Support


Full time, Part time and Occasional hours are available.


You must have a valid UK driving licence for this role.


A night enhancement of £1.00 per hour will apply from 8pm to 7am Monday - Thursday (this does not apply to sleep-ins). A weekend enhancement of £1.00 per hour will be paid from 8pm Friday to 7am Monday (this does not apply to sleep-ins).

Our supported living service here at Benholme supports men 24 hours a day 365 days a year sharing a home (house) who present with Sensory Needs, and periods of Expressive Communication, following a positive behaviour support plan to live an independent and fulfilled life of their choosing.


To support individuals with learning disabilities, complex care needs to live supportive and proactively in the own home and community.


Join our supporting living team that works to provide positive and engaging support/care to individuals with Sensory Needs, and periods of Expressive Communication : if you have previous experience working as a care assistant / support worker / health care worker and have a positive attitude to provide opportunity, choice to support people to have a valued rewarding life and help them to achieve. Care Assistant, Support Worker or similar experience is desirable but not essential. We offer an excellent training and induction programme for everyone!


As a PBS Support Worker with Leonard Cheshire you will become part of a fantastic team. Assistance with daily life tasks including personal care, medication and mealtimes.
Supporting our Person Centred approach, encouraging maximum independence for our customers and helping to achieve individual aspirations.
Ideally have personal care experience (not essential).
Flexibility to work within rostered hours / prepared to participate in an on-call rota where required.
