Position Summary: We are currently seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Production Planner to join our team. This role plays a key part in supporting the development and maintenance of effective production schedules aligned with customer demand, inventory levels, and operational capacity. Working closely with procurement, warehouse, and cross-functional teams, the Production Planner will help drive on-time delivery and manufacturing efficiency across the business. Key Responsibilities Assist in maintaining and developing the production plan to align with demand forecasts, stock levels, and production capacity. Monitor production workflows and adjust schedules as needed to ensure timely delivery and optimal efficiency. Liaise with procurement and warehouse teams to ensure timely availability of materials and components required for manufacturing. Track and monitor production progress through the company’s ERP system (Epicor), identifying and reporting any delays or risks. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve production bottlenecks or inefficiencies. Skills, Knowledge and Expertise Experience in a production planning, manufacturing, or supply chain role is preferred. Proven track record of improving the delivery of manufactured items or equipment. Strong organisational and time management skills with a keen attention to detail. Proficient in the use of ERP systems (Epicor experience is advantageous). Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate across teams. Problem-solving mindset with the ability to work under pressure and adapt to change. Knowledge of manufacturing processes and production scheduling principles is beneficial. Why Salt Sep?
