About The Role
In your role as a Head Housekeeper at HC-One, you’ll value kindness above all else. Kindness drives every aspect of our Dementia, Nursing, Residential, and Specialist care homes. Every single person who works here understands that our residents are people just like them with their own stories to tell. By joining HC-One, you’ll have a wonderful opportunity to give something back to those people.
For you, as a Head Housekeeper, this will mean ensuring that you and the housekeeping team keep an absolutely spotless home for our residents. You’ll manage the cleaning rota, leading by example. Whether planning the week’s laundry, ordering cleaning products, or reading up on infection control procedures, you’ll always prioritize the wellbeing of our residents.
HC-One are looking for an experienced Head Housekeeper with proven team leadership, record keeping, and time management skills. You’ll have outstanding awareness of Health & Safety and COSHH regulations, as well as infection control. What’s essential, though, are your positive energy and natural ability to get along with people. When communicating with residents or colleagues, you’ll be considerate and kind.
Safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility. You should be able to recognize signs of abuse, harm, or neglect and know the appropriate actions to take. All colleagues are required to attend safeguarding training relevant to their role and undertake additional training as needed. You should also seek advice and report concerns, escalating issues if necessary.
We’ll provide full training, offering a great opportunity to learn new skills. In return, you will enjoy a range of benefits and support to enhance your well-being and career development, including:
* Hourly rate subject to experience and qualifications.
* Paid Enhanced DBS/PVG
* Free uniform
* A nutritious meal during shifts of eight hours or more
* Company pension scheme
