Overview
As a Deputy Home Manager, you\u2019ll be ensuring the level of clinical care goes beyond professional standards and statutory, regulatory, and legal requirements. This includes providing specialist nursing support and advice, taking responsibility for resident care in the Home Manager\u2019s absence, and supervising/coaching colleagues to deliver empathetic, person-centred care.
HC-One is looking for a Deputy Home Manager with a valid NMC pin, knowledge of National Standards, and the NMC code of practice. A background in person-centred care planning within a care home is essential. Your positive energy, ability to engage with people, and capability to mentor, manage time effectively, and keep meaningful records will be valued. You will communicate with residents and co-workers with consideration and kindness.

Responsibilities
* Provide specialist nursing support and advice to residents and staff.
* Take responsibility for resident care in the Home Manager\u2019s absence.
* Supervise and coach colleagues to deliver compassionate, person-centred care.
* Maintain meaningful records and manage time effectively.
* Communicate with residents and co-workers in a considerate and kind manner.
* Support safeguarding training and apply safeguarding principles in everyday practice.
Qualifications
* Valid NMC Pin
* Knowledge of National Standards and the NMC code of practice
* Experience in person-centred care planning within a care home
