JAW Sustainability is a dynamic sustainability consultancy company in the construction and property industry. We are involved in all the environmental and wellbeing assessments utilised in the built environment, including BREEAM, LEED, Ska, WELL & Fitwell. We provide a range of services including building performance modelling, covering energy and carbon, overheating and thermal comfort and daylight and sunlight modelling. We also undertake embodied carbon analysis, LCAs and circular economy reporting.
We work closely with our clients from our office in Hoxton, working on projects across London, the rest of the UK, and abroad. The company was founded nearly nine years ago and is expanding over the coming year and beyond.
We are looking for a new Graduate Sustainability Consultant to join our team at the beginning of 2026 to support the building certification team and assist on project delivery with senior staff. This role suits a proactive and ambitious individual looking to grow within the company.
Responsibilities
 * Work with the certification team to deliver certifications on a range of projects
 * Conduct BREEAM, LEED, WELL & Ska assessments from early concept design stages through to completion
 * Collaborate with other teams at JAW on large-scale projects
 * Work closely with clients to produce sustainability assessments tailored to the development and meet desired client outcomes
 * Prepare high-quality reports for clients and certification bodies
 * Hold workshops and meetings with clients
 * ESG reporting
Required Experience / Skills
 * Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in engineering, sustainability or the built environment
 * Proven teamwork skills
 * Demonstrable interest in certifications in the built environment
Basic Understanding of Sustainable Construction
 * Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
 * Highly analytical, able to review and understand technical information
 * Enthusiastic with excellent interpersonal skills
 * Ability to work independently and use initiative
 * Ability to adapt to evolving work environments within a small business
Desired Experience
 * 1‑2 years in sustainability in the built environment sector
 * Experience with BREEAM, WELL or LEED
