JD.com are recruiting for a Warehouse Manager to join this brand new warehouse due to open in the next few months.
Role:
As Warehouse Manager you will over see comprehensive warehouse operations management in alignment with corporate strategy and operational objectives. Develop warehousing strategies, process standards, and annual plans.
Lead and motivate a team to coordinate inbound/outbound logistics, inventory control, cost optimisation, and team development to increase operational efficiency and ensure a safe environment.
Responsibilities
* Develop warehouse development strategies, process standards, and annual plans aligned with company objectives.
* Establish a comprehensive warehouse management system, design warehouse layouts, and plan equipment allocation to drive standardisation and intelligent upgrades, enhancing operational efficiency.
* Oversee the complete workflow of inbound/outbound logistics, storage, inventory management, and order fulfilment.
* Monitor key metrics such as inventory turnover and accuracy, optimise task routing and resource allocation, and ensure smooth, error-free warehouse operations to minimise losses.
* Manage warehouse team recruitment, training, and performance evaluations.
* Optimise organisational structure to strengthen execution capabilities. Implement safety protocols, address major incidents, and mitigate operational risks to ensure compliance and workplace safety.
* Partner with logistics, sales, and other departments to align supply chain resources and resolve operational bottlenecks.
* Gather customer insights to refine service processes, elevating satisfaction and competitive advantage.
Qualifications
* Extensive experience of warehouse operations
* Proven track record in leading team in complex environments
* Clear communicator
* Knowledge in health and safety, legislation and compliance
* Proficient in Microsoft Office products (Excel and Word)
