Job Outline
Join an experienced team of Electrical and Mechanical Maintenance Engineers on the company’s rotating shifts. Reporting to the Maintenance/Engineering Manager, your work will involve routine and reactive maintenance of the plant’s electrical systems, adhering to PPM schedules and supporting new installations and modifications.
Responsibilities
* Fault‑finding in electrical systems and mechanical components.
* Diagnostics on conversion machinery and hydraulic/pneumatic systems.
* Electrical fault‑finding in Siemens S7 control panels.
* Record work, faults and breakdowns in the engineering maintenance system.
* Quick response to breakdowns and emergency repairs.
* Assist with new installations and equipment modifications.
* Work independently and as part of group projects.
Candidate Profile
* HNC or HND level of qualification desirable (Engineering apprenticeship, 17th/18th edition, and/or Level3 Electrical Qualification).
* Proven engineering background with production/manufacturing experience (essential).
* Strong electrical and PLC fault‑finding ability.
* Experience with steel processing conversion and slitting desirable.
* Time‑serviced to Level3 Electrical or preferably HNC.
