PLC Improvement Engineer - Banbury
Location: Banbury, Oxfordshire (commutable from: Bicester, Brackley, Chipping Norton, Towcester, and surrounding areas)

You'll be working Monday to Friday, day shifts with flexible hours, providing a healthy work-life balance.
Salary: £65,000-£70,000 per year, plus:

Key Responsibilities:
* Perform mechanical, electrical, and PLC maintenance in line with safety, quality, and company standards
* Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve faults on automated and production systems
* Support continuous improvement initiatives and process optimisation projects
* Maintain accurate maintenance records and CMMS data
* Coordinate with engineers, production teams, and contractors to ensure timely and efficient maintenance
* Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards
The ideal candidate:
* Time-served or apprenticeship-qualified multi-skilled engineer with mechanical and electrical expertise
* Experience with PLCs, including Siemens, Mitsubishi, or Allen Bradley systems
* Previous experience in food/FMCG or industrial manufacturing environments
* Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and continuous improvement mindset
* Relevant engineering qualification (HNC/HND/NVQ/BTEC or equivalent)
* Proactive, reliable, and a team player who takes ownership and initiative
