Job Description
Responsibilities:
* Front line with Commercial Operations and sales for all segments
* Key actor in the EHS ITO
* Process inside the business.
* Point of contact for the EHS ITO function for all segments of GE renewable energy.
* Contributor in all bid phases, by analysing the Terms & Condition's and contracts of GE and customers, in order to identify EHS and security risks for GE and propose some mitigation language inside GE and customer contracts to ensure compliance.
* Anticipate environmental issues during project or service and propose mitigation language in order to limit the GE responsibility and financial impact.
* Analysis of all project and services scopes in order to identify all risks for the business during the execution of the OTR phase or during the services activities.
* Develop mitigation plans for projects where deviations or risks have been identified, especially on High risk or non-usual operations.
* Support commercial and sales teams during negotiation with Customer, address, mitigate and modification of the contract language dynamically.
* Link with the EHS OTR team, during ITO/OTR handover process and collect Feedback during OTR execution in order to re-inject the lessons learned inside the ITO process.
* Initiate and support the partner qualification process, by the implementation of the deep dive process and propose a plan of mitigation.
* Support and attend partner reviews and meetings in order to demonstrate the EHS advantage to customers and prepare the final bids.
* Be the first filter for site security approach during the ITO Phase, and asking support from Security director when required
* Be the first filter Medical Risk and propose a mitigation plan or strategy regarding project and services locations
* Identify EHS cost during ITO phase for OTR Phase in order to integrate Cost in the Project and preserve margin
* EHS approver for all deviations where GE could be Exposed to all EHS risks
* Answer or support GE EHS qualification process, initiated by customer in order to qualify GE as a supplier
Leadership
* Contribute to develop ITO EHS function inside the P&L and Segment by developing a robust ITO EHS process, through improving the workflow, procedures and program, in order to decrease risks projects for the business
* Developed ITO EHS training module for commercial and sales team.
* Challenging GE EHS T&C's, in a way of improvement and alignment with other business
* Benchmarking with major companies, on the EHS ITO process, tool, scope approach.
* Promote EHS ITO by discussing contract and GE point of view, with Customers or counterpart.
Qualifications / Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Engineering or related EHS field.
* Advanced and demonstrated EHS experience, with exposure to several EHS areas in a Projects or Services environment
* Exceptional knowledge on project management on EPC structure, Turnkey, Civil work activity, construction & commissioning.
* Renewable products, as (Wind, on /off shore, Hydro, Geothermal, Solar, Tidal) knowledge will help to the success of this role
