OverviewWe are working with a specialist Complex Care provider delivering community-based support to individuals with Brain Injuries, Spinal Injuries, and other life-limiting conditions. They are seeking a Clinical Educator to join their team, focused on developing and upskilling care staff through high-quality, classroom-based training.
Key ResponsibilitiesDeliver engaging, classroom-style training sessions to small groups of carers (typically up to 8 learners)Lead on core clinical training, with a strong emphasis on Tracheostomy and VentilationSupport the development of carers' competencies to ensure safe, effective care delivery in the communityAssess, monitor, and document learner progress and competency levelsContribute to the continuous improvement of training materials and programmesEnsure all training aligns with current clinical guidelines and best practice standards
RequirementsRegistered Nurse with an active NMC pinStrong clinical background within Complex Care i.e ITU, HDU or NeuroConfident and competent in Tracheostomy and VentilationExcellent communication skills with the ability to engage and teach othersPassion for education, training, and staff development
DesirablePrevious experience in a Clinical Educator or training-focused roleTeaching/assessor qualification (or willingness to work towards)
Please note: Nurses without formal education experience will still be considered, provided they are confident in Tracheostomy & Ventilation and comfortable delivering training in a classroom environment.
