THE ROLE
We are looking for two part-time (or one full-time) Assembly Assistant(s) to join our Unit team in an inviting and friendly Warehouse situated in East Sussex. Working as part of a dynamic team, this role will be responsible for labelling and packaging products and would suit someone who has worked in a factory on an assembly line / has some experience in roles such as Production Operative or Factory Operative etc.
The nature of the role will require strong attention to detail, moving at a fast pace and a strong team player ethos. Due to the rural location, your own transport is required.
Reporting to (and supported by) our Fulfilment Manager you will form an integral part of the fun loving and hardworking team, fulfilling orders for our growing customer base.
YOU WILL
* Assemble, pick and pack customer orders to despatch daily - specifically, the focus will be on assembling our mechanise and discovery boxes
* Labelling and packaging by hand and machine
* Loading and unloading required products
* Support Fulfilment team in other aspects of fulfilment
* Suggest and support operational efficiencies
* Work as part of a growing team
* Carry out quality checks on all products

* Demonstrable organisational skills
* Experience with working in a warehouse, assembly line, fulfilment or similar
* Ability to work fast and with exceptional efficiency

Our Interview Process and What You Can Expect:
* Application Review: We’ll start by reviewing your CV/application to ensure it’s a good fit for the role.
+ Initial Phone Call (circa 10 minutes): You’ll have a brief introductory chat with Ellie, our Talent Partner. We’ll discuss your experience, your career aspirations and explore how your values align with ours.
+ Onsite Interview (circa 30 minutes): The next step will be an onsite interview with Ann, our brilliant Warehouse Manager. This will be a conversation to assess your suitability for the role. It’s also a great time to ask any questions you have!
+ Trial Day: You'll be invited to participate in a (paid) trial day at our warehouse. This will give us a chance to assess your skills, work style, and determine the best fit for you within the team. It’s also a great opportunity for you to gain a clear understanding of the role, the team dynamic, and what a typical day entails!
Please Note:
* This role requires onsite working at our warehouse unit in Barcombe. Please apply only if you are able to drive and you’re within a reasonable commute to East Sussex.
