Full-time Level 3 Practitioner Job Overview We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Level 3 Practitioner to join our Clients dynamic early years team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care and education to children aged 1-5 years, ensuring their developmental needs are met in a nurturing and stimulating environment. The Nursery School was established in 2001. They provide care and education for young children between the ages of 18 months to 5 years. English is spoken as the first language, with Gujarati being spoken as a second language. They are Ofsted Registered and accept children from 18 months – 5 years. Working hours are 8:00am to 5:00pm The nursery is open for approximately 51 weeks of the year. They do close for the Hindu New Year (Ankoot) for one day (If it falls over the weekdays) and for the period between Christmas and New Year. You will work closely with other team members to create a safe, welcoming, and stimulating environment that promotes children's learning and development across all areas of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS). Key Responsibilities Plan and implement engaging activities that support children's learning and development across all areas of the EYFS Observe, assess, and document children's progress, using this information to inform planning and next steps Act as a key person for a group of children, building strong relationships with them and their families Ensure the safety and well-being of children at all times, adhering to safeguarding policies and procedures Maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment for children to play and learn Communicate effectively with parents/carers, keeping them informed about their child's progress and addressing any concerns Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure smooth running of the setting and consistency in care and education Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities Contribute to the ongoing development and improvement of the setting's policies and procedures Support children with special educational needs and disabilities, working closely with the SENCO and external professionals as required Prepare and serve meals and snacks, ensuring dietary requirements and food hygiene standards are met Administer first aid and medication as necessary, following appropriate procedures and policies Maintain accurate records, including attendance, accidents, and incidents Participate in the implementation of special events and celebrations within the setting Required Qualifications and Experience Level 3 Diploma in Childcare and Education or equivalent qualification Must hold PFA Full enhanced DBS (This can be provided for you) Please apply with full CV, all applicants subject to standard checks IND2
