Job Overview:
To support the business in achieving its aims and objectives through the delivery of asbestos management and removal projects
Responsibilities:
* Undertake asbestos removal works in compliance with relevant Legislation/Regulations, MGE Policies and Standard Operating Procedures and to the required health and safety standards
* Ensure that all plant and materials are maintained and utilised to ensure safe working practices
* Ensure full understanding of Method Statement and Risk Assessment prior to works commencing and ensure all controls are in place
* Undertake all site works in liaison with site Supervisor, other site staff and Client to ensure all works proceed to programme and budget and to Clients satisfaction
* Complete all required site checks, record on appropriate forms in conjunction with site Supervisor
* Undertake all daily checks on site as required
* Undertake TNA analysis on Supervisor on a project by project basis
* Participate in wider objectives of the company
Qualifications/Experience:
* Demonstrable successful experience of working in a similar role (Qualified Licenced Asbestos Operative)
* Committed to providing first rate customer service
* Knowledge of relevant legislation including Health and Safety
* The written communication skills to complete all site paperwork to a high standard
* Honest & reliable
* Ability to undertake work as instructed by site Supervisor amidst challenging demands on time
* Working additional hours as required, by the needs of the business
