Talent Specialist @ BES Group | CIPD Qualified - We're hiring! This role is part of Inspired Access Solutions, within our infrastructure division, delivering specialist access operations for key civil infrastructure projects across the UK.
What you will be doing
As a Project Operations Manager for Inspired Access Solutions, you will manage the overall delivery of specialist access operations across various site locations, projects and teams. You will:
* Monitor site operations using site inspection and reporting processes.
* Liaise with clients on project matters including safety, health, scope of works, new works and ongoing collaborative working and the promotion of Inspired Access.
* Oversee, manage and provide support to wider operations team delivering industrial rope access, confined space, marine and suspended access projects.
* Ensure projects are delivered safely on time and as per planned resource allocations.
* Attend and lead operational meetings and plan-do-review sessions as required.
* Contribute to business development, tendering and pricing activities when required.
* Ensure prompt, accurate completion and return of company documentation.
* Lead, collaborate, manage and review site safety documentation.
* Maintain overview and knowledge of all active projects and resource allocations using planning and program tools.
* Create and distribute operational reports for senior leaders as required.
* Contribute to ongoing selection and recruitment of staff.
* Work across the UK, including time away from home in accommodation where needed.
* Collaborate with quality, safety and environmental objectives and contribute to continual improvement initiatives.

Requirements
* Ideally holds IRATA certification
* Good interpersonal skills
* Experience in the delivery of specialist access
* Ability to line manage staff
* First Aid certification; commercially aware
* Full, clean UK driving licence; client contact experience
* Medically fit; experience in railway and highway sectors
* Advanced use of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel & Project; ability to operate in challenging environments
