Job Title: Swimming Teacher
We are seeking enthusiastic and inspiring Swimming Teachers to join our industry-leading team across the UK. Our mission is to revolutionise swimming and change lives by providing high-quality learn-to-swim experiences for children aged 3-11 in the community.
1. Plan and deliver swimming lessons according to the scheme of work and lesson plans.
2. Integrate programme reward schemes into classes to motivate swimmers.
3. Ensure the safe use and provision of all equipment, conducting dynamic risk assessments as needed.
4. Identify swimmers' abilities and encourage them to reach their full potential.
5. Explain and demonstrate modern, accurate swimming techniques.
6. Develop swimmers' techniques and identify improvements to enhance performance.
7. Create a positive, fun environment to motivate and encourage swimmers.
8. Evaluate sessions and provide constructive feedback.
9. Assess each swimmer's progress regularly and coordinate the award of certificates via our online portal.
Qualifications and Skills:
* Qualified Level 2 Swimming Teacher - STA or Swim England.
* Enthusiastic, positive attitude towards swimming.
* Good communication skills, with the ability to inspire confidence and motivate swimmers.
* Perseverance and patience.
* Ability to encourage and put swimmers at ease.
* Desire to meet individual needs.
* Professional, punctual, and well-organised.
* Flexibility to work weekdays, evenings, and weekends.
About the Role:
You will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons that inspire children to love swimming. Utilize technology to track progress, work collaboratively with a team, and participate in training and meetings to share best practices. This is a self-employed role with guaranteed hours, primarily during weekday evenings and weekends, teaching 121 and 221 lessons.
