As our business continues to expand Beacon are looking to take on a number of new Project Managers to support with our existing workload, as well as helping us to gear up for the new business opportunities we know will be coming our way.
As a Project Manager within Beacon, you will be expected to manage every aspect of a project. You will take responsibility post Acquisition and Design complete, making all the necessary arrangements for each of your sites to be ready to receive our Field Engineers, through the build to site complete. This role can be demanding and requires someone who enjoys responsibility, problem solving, client management and has a commercial focus.
Project Managers work in an environment where change is the only certainty, you will need to enjoy problem solving, be someone who is able to think on their feet and adapt quickly to changing demands both internally and externally from our Clients and Suppliers
You will be liaising with colleagues around the business, working particularly closely with our CAD, Quantity Surveying, Finance and Field Engineering Teams, as well as liaising directly with our Clients and Suppliers. To be a successful Project Manager at Beacon you must be a team player with strong communication skills, both written and verbal, have a commercial focus in everything you do, be precise with an exacting eye for detail and be able to work at your best under pressure. The majority of the role will be office-based, however, some time on site will be required.
Responsibilities:
* To keep Project Sponsors and other stakeholders up to date with progress.
* To ensure Customers are continually update on project status, recognising the importance ensuring Customer systems as well as Beacon trackers are constantly up to date
* To ensure all agreed client and internal KPI's are met or exceeded.
* Determine the resource requirements for the completion of all works throughout the project term
* Monitor spends against budgets.
* Comply with the relevant Health and Safety Policy provisions when planning works.
* To perform other duties as required.
* Manage productivity and assign roles, tasks and responsibilities necessary for completion of the work.
* Manage Customer communications professionally at all times

* Able to communicate professionally and effectively
* Commercially aware and able to demonstrate understanding of actions and commercial impacts associated with them
* Strong work ethic
* Excellent communicator both written and verbal
* Proven ability to work well under pressure and remain calm at all times
* Good understanding of Atlas
