Senior Teaching Assistant – TES FE News
The Successful Candidate Will
* Mentor, support and inspire learners by facilitating curriculum-based learning in the classroom, on home tuition and outreach, and through outdoor activities
* Assist with the preparation of learning material and contribute to the delivery of learning objectives with a strong focus on behavioural management and emotional health assessment tools
* Provide daily reports on learners’ progress and barriers to learning
* Work collaboratively with members of SLT and the Student Support & Intervention Mentor to support students and their parents
* Interact with parents/caregivers on a regular basis
Responsibilities

Our Ideal Candidate
* A committed and passionate view of students with SEND
* At least two years’ experience minimum of working in a SEND environment or similar unit/provision
* A Level 3 TA qualification is advantageous
