Senior Cloud Engineer Responsibilities
* Architect, build, and maintain secure and scalable cloud infrastructure across Azure, AWS or GCP
* Implement Infrastructure as Code using tools such as Terraform
* Support CI/CD processes using platforms like Azure DevOps, Jenkins or GitHub Actions
* Design solutions that bridge traditional infrastructure and modern DevOps practices
* Develop tooling and automation using Python, Go, JavaScript, or similar languages
* Collaborate with software engineers, architects, and delivery teams to ensure smooth deployment and operations
* Contribute to container orchestration solutions using Kubernetes or ECS
* Lead technical discussions with stakeholders and provide expert input on cloud architecture decisions
* Identify and resolve infrastructure issues using a systematic debugging approach
* Maintain high standards of cloud security, compliance and documentation
Senior Cloud Engineer Requirements
* Extensive experience in a cloud engineering or DevOps role, ideally in consultancy or fast-paced environments
* Deep understanding of at least one cloud platform (Azure, AWS or GCP)
* Proficient with Infrastructure as Code, especially Terraform
* Experience with CI/CD tooling (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Azure DevOps)
* Competence in a modern programming language such as Python, Go or JavaScript
* Strong grasp of networking, cloud security and distributed system architecture
* Hands-on experience with Kubernetes or similar container orchestration platforms
* Ability to work in agile teams and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
* Comfortable navigating complexity and ambiguity in delivery environments
