Responsibilities:
As a Shift Technician, you will be responsible for monitoring and controlling the operation of essential systems such as cooling, power, and other critical infrastructure. Your role involves performing emergency repairs, conducting regular inspections to ensure equipment health, and analysing facility data to identify trends and optimise performance. You will develop and maintain clear operational procedures, accurately log activities, and utilise Work Notification systems. Additionally, you will support planned preventative maintenance activities, assist specialist subcontractors, and ensure smooth handovers between shifts. Effectivemunication, technical expertise, and the ability to work under pressure are crucial for success in this role.Requirements:
4. Experience: Minimum of 1 year working in data centres or critical environments.
5. Technical Skills: Proficiency in fault diagnostics, BMS/PMS systems, and building services trades (UPS, Diesel Generators, HVAC, etc.).
6. Qualifications: Relevant qualifications in mechanical and electrical engineering, such as City & Guilds and 18th Edition Institute of Electrical Engineers registration.
