Our client is a well-established successful property organisation in Liverpool who are currently seeking an experienced PROPERTY CREDIT CONTROLLER to join their Property Management Team.
Based out of their modern city centre office, you will assist the Senior Property Manger with monitoring and collecting the rents for a large portfolio of properties.
Role and responsibilities
* Monitor accounts and identify late and missing payments.
* Issue reminders to ensure accounts are brought up to date and escalate for further action where necessary.
* Prepare rent schedules and reconcile accounts using Excel.
* Deal with tenants queries regarding their rent accounts and record on our property management system.
* Deal with arrears correspondence.
* Serve legal notices where applicable and manage the journey from service to conclusion.
* Prepare cases for hearings and attend possession hearings/bailiffs appointments where necessary.
* Run routine and adhoc reports and post daily rent charges onto our property management system.
* Provide debt management support.
* Work closely with the finance department.
Our client is offering a basic salary of £26,000 - 28,000.
