About the role
Connex Education are working with a large mainstream primary school and nursery provision in the Saltburn area who are seeking Teaching Assistants to work full time. We are looking for 2 Teaching Assistants specifically for EYFS and Year 1. The role is for general TA support within nursery and Y1 but you must also be happy providing some 1:1 support and small group sessions where required.

This inclusive primary school prides itself on strong teamwork, a child-centred approach, and a positive school culture. They provide education and care from nursery age (2 years) upwards to Year 6.
Assignment Details
This Teaching Assistant position is full time working Monday – Friday and has a January start 2026. You must be able to commit to 8:30-3:30 daily. Experience working in a school or nursery is required for this position- you are also invitied to apply if you have recently completed a TA qualification and gained experience through a placement or a volunteer assignment.

Person Specification
* Teaching Assistant Qualification or Equivalent Degree/ Experience
* Have experience of supporting pupils in a primary or nursery environment
* Be confident working with small groups
* Good Knowledge of Additional Needs and knowledge of either EYFS/KS1/KS2 Curriculum
* Have a current DBS on the update service or willing to apply for a new one with Connex
