General information Reference 2025-2227 Function Onshore – Asset Job title Crane Support Engineer Job description This role is responsible for providing operational and technical support for crane maintenance and inspection activities, ensuring delivery of planned scopes in accordance with gate criteria and safety standards. Support operations by coordinating resources, resolving issues, and facilitating effective communication between stakeholders to meet operational and compliance requirements. Key Deliverables: Develop, maintain, and deliver the crane two-year plan in collaboration with the Crane Focal Point, ensuring alignment with 90 day and 28 day gate criteria. Attend and provide progress updates at 28-day and 90-day Integrated Operations Plan planning meetings. Review and update SAP planned maintenance data for crane scopes, ensuring accuracy in corrections, resourcing, and alignment with the plan. Prepare scope packages for crane activities, including procurement of materials, equipment, personnel, and specialist vendors. Attend and provide updates at weekly vendor readiness meetings. Provide contract support for Client Core Crew issues, including sickness, absences, and no-shows. Support Client in responding to urgent and emergency requirements, such as breakdowns, including direct assistance as required. Assist with backlog management activities, including inputs for deferrals, MDCRs, and TQs. Provide technical and logistical support for P3 and P4 scopes as reported in SAP AWTS, including preparation of work orders for liquidation. Deliver additional support as required, including holiday cover and assistance with planned maintenance and shut down scopes. Profile Qualifications and Work Experience: Experience in crane operations, maintenance planning, or contract support within an offshore/onshore environment. Proven background in using SAP or similar CMMS systems. Experience coordinating vendors, resources, and logistics for technical scopes. Job Specific Knowledge: Understanding of crane maintenance strategies, inspection processes, and operational compliance requirements. Knowledge of HSEQ standards and regulatory requirements for lifting operations. Familiarity with maintenance planning cycles, gate criteria, and backlog management processes. Skills: Strong organisational and planning skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities. Effective communication and stakeholder engagement skills. Attention to detail in documentation, reporting, and planning. Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing operational needs. Competent in Microsoft Office Suite and SAP PM modules.
