One of the world’s largest and most respected data centre organisations is seeking a Junior Data Centre Facilities Maintenance Engineer to join their growing UK team. This role is based at a state-of-the-art data centre near Gatwick, and involves supporting the maintenance and operation of critical infrastructure to ensure reliability and uptime. What you’ll do
Support the maintenance and operation of critical infrastructure at a data centre, focusing on reliability and uptime.
Work is in a state-of-the-art facility near Gatwick; this role provides a path into the growing critical facilities sector.
Key Requirements
* Fully qualified Electrician (City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installations)
* Some maintenance experience preferred, but candidates from commercial or industrial installation backgrounds are encouraged
* Backgrounds in production maintenance or the armed forces (especially Royal Navy) are highly desirable
* Positive attitude with a strong willingness to learn and develop
* Ability to pass a DBS security check (clean criminal record required)
* Must live within a 1 hour commute of the Gatwick area
What’s on Offer
* £40,000 salary + 10% bonus + excellent benefits
* Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm
