Your Role as Design & Technology Teacher:
* Deliver high-quality Design & Technology lessons across KS3 and KS4, and potentially KS5.
* Teach a variety of design-based disciplines, including product design, electronics, engineering, and textiles.
* Encourage students to use design thinking and problem-solving techniques to create functional and innovative products.
* Provide practical and creative learning experiences, including project-based assignments and design challenges.
* Work collaboratively with colleagues in the department to ensure a dynamic and forward-thinking curriculum.
Who We’re Looking For:
* A qualified Design & Technology Teacher with experience in teaching a wide range of design disciplines.
* A strong understanding of CAD software, 3D printing, and other modern design tools.
* A creative and enthusiastic approach to teaching, with a passion for developing students’ technical skills.
* Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to support a wide range of learning abilities.
* Enhanced DBS Check (or willingness to obtain one).
