Job Role and Responsibilities:
1. Assist the Retail store manager in planning and implementing strategies to attract customers.
2. Help to manage the store sales team to ensure customers are being helped in a timely fashion
3. Drive sales by effective merchandising.
4. Assume the responsibility of the manager in their absence.
5. Assist in employee training and development. Coach/support new and existing staff.
6. Inspire and encourage employees to ensure high level of moral in store.
7. Assist customers and troubleshoot customer service issues when necessary
8. Participate in team and department meetings in relation to stock planning/merchandise
9. Conduct regular audits to ensure the store is functionable, presentable and meeting store standards.
10. Analyse consumer behaviour and adjust product positioning where necessary.
11. Adhere to Health and Safety regulations at all times.
12. Ensure good working relations with colleagues.
13. Ensure that absenteeism and tardiness are kept to a minimum.
14. Ensure that company polices are adhered to always, this includes Equal Opportunities Policy, Harassment Policy, Health and Safety Policy and Training Policy.
15. Any other reasonable duties requested.
Essential:
* 2 years' experience within a retail management environment.
* Time Management of yourself and prepared to work shifts (Days/evenings/weekends.)
* Excellent written and oral communication skills.
* Ability to listen closely and assimilate information quickly. Able to ask clarifying questions and provide accurate information.
* Customer focused with a strong desire to deliver exceptional customer service.
* Well organised, energetic and passionate.
* Flexible/Enthusiastic and committed to meeting deadlines.
* Computer literate (including Microsoft Office applications especially in the use of excel).

Pay: £14.17 per hour
