An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Electronics Engineer to join a growing technology company in Cambridge. As a Senior Electronics Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, development, and validation of advanced electronic systems used in high-performance and mission-critical applications. The role of Senior Electronics Engineer will involve leading hardware design activities from concept through to production, working closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams to deliver robust, high-quality solutions.
Responsibilities
* Lead the design and development of analogue, digital, and mixed-signal electronic hardware
* Undertake schematic capture, PCB design, and component selection
* Support prototyping, bring-up, debugging, and validation in the lab
* Collaborate with systems, software, RF, and mechanical engineers to ensure successful integration
* Contribute to design reviews, documentation, and compliance activities
Requirements
* Degree in Electronic or Electrical Engineering (or equivalent experience)
* Strong experience in electronic circuit design, PCB development, and lab validation
* Exposure to high-speed digital, RF, or defence-related systems desirable
* Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to take technical ownership
