Employee Relations Specialist
Hybrid - Newcastle city centre
Salary up to £41,000
12 Month FTC Hybrid Working
Elevation HR is working with a dynamic and forward-thinking engineering company that is now looking for an Employee Relations Specialist for a 12-month FTC.
The role of Employee Relations Specialist will provide advice and guidance, supporting managers on people management casework and absence support through the centralised advisory service tiered structure.
The ER Specialist Will
* Be the first point of contact for all managers throughout the business for people policy related issues
* Coach and influence managers in people management, developing skills, and constructively challenging inappropriate behaviors/actions
* Support managers to improve attendance, ensuring that both long and short-term sickness levels are within company targets, utilising available systems and management information
To Be Successful In This Role You Will
* Have solid experience of Employee Relations with the ability to build strong working relationships with all levels of managers
* Have strong Employee Relations specialist experience within a complex, unionised environment, and large matrix organisations
* Demonstrate a sound understanding of employment law
* Hold CIPD Level 5 qualification or be working towards it
