Overview
Axcis Education are working closely to support a secondary trauma informed provision for students with complex social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) needs. This nurturing and inclusive school is looking for a dedicated SEMH Learning Support Assistant to join their team and play a key role in supporting pupils’ social, emotional and academic development.
* Position: SEMH Learning Coach
* Start Date: November 2025 (After Half Term)
* Hours: Full-time, 8:30am – 4:00pm
* Salary: £90–£105 per day (dependent on SEND experience & qualifications)
* Contract: Temp to Permanent Opportunity
Responsibilities
* Support pupils’ social, emotional and academic development in a trauma-informed provision.
* Collaborate with staff to implement strategies that promote wellbeing and positive behaviour.
* Contribute to a supportive, inclusive learning environment.

* Calm under pressure and able to respond to stressful situations with patience.
* Team player with excellent communication and collaboration skills.
* Skilled in building positive relationships with young people and staff.
* Passionate and motivated to make a difference in students’ lives.
