What you’ll be doing:
1. Delivering a variety of training of both professional and non-professional fire and rescue training
2. Delivering instructional content and facilitating learning needs
3. Supporting the scheduling of Defence Training and the allocation of Defence Trainers
4. Helping to develop and deliver high quality training material using several cutting-edge technologies including Artificial Reality (AR) and Virtual Reality (VR).
5. Training a variety of individuals, from basic recruits through to seasoned managers
What we’re looking for:
6. Previous firefighting training experience
7. Accredited breathing apparatus qualification, would be an advantage
8. Experience at Crew Manager or Corporal level or equivalent within the Local Authority Fire Service
9. At least a level 3 qualification/accreditation in teaching and learning or the Defence Trainer Course competency
10. An aviation background would be an advantage
