We are currently recruiting a Multi Plumber to join our team in Canterbury. You will join our maintenance team, delivering high-quality plumbing and multi-trade repairs across our social housing properties carrying out a wide range of responsive and planned maintenance works to ensure our tenants' homes are safe, well-maintained, and compliant with current regulations.
Accountabilities/Responsibilities:
* Carry out a variety of plumbing repairs, installations, and maintenance tasks, including (but not limited to) replacing taps, unblocking drains, repairing leaks, fitting new pipework, and installing sanitary ware.
* Undertake basic multi-trade works as needed (e.g., patch plastering, tiling, basic carpentry, or decorating) to ensure full job completion during a single visit.
* Respond to emergency call-outs and participate in an on-call rota as required.
* Work in accordance with health and safety policies, risk assessments, and method statements.
* Maintain accurate records of work completed using handheld devices or job sheets.
* Deliver excellent customer service and treat tenants with respect and professionalism.
* Ensure all work is carried out in line with relevant legislation (e.g., Water Regulations, Building Regulations).
Key Skills/Qualifications:
* NVQ Level 2 in Plumbing or equivalent trade qualification.
* Proven experience working as a plumber, ideally within a social housing or domestic maintenance setting.
* Ability to carry out minor multi-trade tasks to a good standard.
* Full UK driving licence
* Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
