Are you passionate about helping pupils succeed? Teaching Personnel is working with a welcoming primary school in Levenshulme to recruit a KS2 SATs Support Teaching Assistant to join their team from February 2026. This role is ideal for someone who can provide targeted support to Year 6 pupils as they prepare for their SATs exams.
The Role
* Work closely with the Year 6 teacher to deliver tailored interventions in Maths, English, and Reading.
* Support small groups and 1:1 sessions to boost confidence and attainment.
* Assist with lesson preparation and provide feedback on pupil progress.
* Help create a positive, focused learning environment during the SATs preparation period.
* Monitor and record pupil progress, reporting to the class teacher and SENCO where necessary.
Requirements
* Previous experience supporting KS2 pupils, ideally Year 6.
* Strong knowledge of the KS2 curriculum and SATs expectations.
* Ability to engage and motivate pupils of varying abilities.
* Excellent communication and organisational skills.
* A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
