Terumo Aortic are seeking a highly motivated Graduate Custom Engineer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a key role in the design and development of custom devices, managing multiple projects simultaneously to meet strict deadlines. This role requires a combination of technical expertise, innovative thinking, and excellent communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
* Design and development of custom devices
* Manage and prioritise workload across a number of live custom device cases to meet strict deadlines
* Innovation of new ideas & evaluation of concepts Problem solving
* Process development and continuous improvement
* Test development (Test protocols)
* Verification & Validation
* Risk Analysis
* Report writing
* Working to relevant quality standards
* Generation of Engineering Drawings
* Generation of Bills of Materials
* Liaising with other relevant departments
* Presenting to and participating in discussions with clinicians on technical and General design/process matters
Qualifications & Experience
* BEng/BSc (or Equivalent) in Mechanical Engineering, Product Development Engineering or relevant discipline
* Proven ability to work effectively as part of a team
* Clear and efficient communication skills
* Planning & organising skills with ability to work to deadlines
* Effective decision maker
* Effective presentation skills
* Ability to document work in line with Design control & Quality systems including FMEA
* Strong experience in relevant field
