Role Overview:
In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring efficient and cost-effective procurement of materials and supplies essential to our production operations. You will work closely with suppliers and internal departments to maintain optimal stock levels and support smooth production flow.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Buyer the role will include the below:
* Purchase materials and supplies required for production, ensuring alignment with quality standards and operational timelines
* Maintain and build relationships with vendors and suppliers
* Negotiate with suppliers to secure better prices
* Manage inventory levels and ensure adequate stock
* Coordinate with other departments such as Production and Finance to align procurement activities
* Update and maintain purchasing records
* Ensure compliance with procurement policies and regulations
* Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the supply chain
* Oversee weekly cycle counts and implement corrective actions for inventory discrepancies
What we're looking for:
Essential:
* Previous experience in a Purchasing role
* Proficient use of IT systems and software: Microsoft Suites
* Positive and self-motivated
* Great team player
Desirable:
* CIPS Level 3 Qualification and aiming for Level 4
* Previous use of Microsoft NAV

Monday: 7:30am – 4:30pm
Tuesday: 7:30am – 4:30pm
Wednesday: 7:00am – 4:00pm
Thursday: 7:30am – 4:30pm
Friday: 7:00am – 2:45pm
