Nurse Assessor – Hybrid Role
Location: Wandsworth, South West London (Hybrid: 2 days remote, 3 days on-site)
Salary: £46,215 per annum
Job Type: Full-time | Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:30pm
Looking to move away from shift work while still making a clinical impact? We’re seeking experienced Registered Nurses to join our client’s team in Wandsworth as a Nurse Assessor, conducting Work Capability Assessments (WCA)on behalf of the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP). This role offers a structured, non-treatment environment where your clinical expertise helps inform important decisions—without the demands of nights, weekends, or hands-on care.

What You’ll Be Doing
* Conducting WCA assessments via telephone, video, or face-to-face
* Evaluating how physical and/or mental health conditions affect a person’s ability to work
* Writing clear, evidence-based reports for the DWP
* Working independently with support from a multidisciplinary clinical team
What We’re Looking For
* Registered Nurse (RGN, RMN, or RNLD)with a valid NMC pin
* At least 12 months of post-registration experience
* Strong clinical reasoning and communication skills
* A desire to transition into a non-clinical, assessment-based role
