We are seeking an additional proactive electrically biased Shift Technician to join a large Data Centre in Hertfordshire, working directly with the Data Hosting Company. The team is described as friendly with above-average staff retention, operating in a modern and clean environment.
This role offers easy travel access from central London. The market-leading salary quoted is £56k incl. bonus, with further potential through overtime.
Responsibilities
* Cover planned and reactive maintenance of electrical systems including single- and three-phase power, UPS, power generators, and lighting
* Maintain HVAC plant and air conditioning as part of a broader facilities engineering function
* Work within a specialist Critical Engineering team to ensure data centre uptime and reliability
Qualifications
* Electrically qualified engineers with a background in Critical environments, or other engineering maintenance sectors (e.g., Pharmaceutical, Power, Banking, Industrial, Maritime)
* Completed apprenticeship or equivalent time-served experience in M&E maintenance
* Hands-on experience with planned and reactive maintenance of electrical systems, including single & three-phase power, UPS, generators, lighting, and related plant
* Full electrical City & Guilds or equivalent
