Purpose of Role:
* Responsible for the identification and investigation of security incidents related to retail and online data; providing detailed evidence and support to law enforcement and government agencies; preventing fraud and conducting internal investigations within Allwyn.
Department Description:
* The Security function combines expertise to maintain Allwyn's operational security, protect assets, and uphold the integrity of the National Lottery.
Team Description:
* The Protective Security Team safeguards the National Lottery by preventing, detecting, and deterring threats.
Key Responsibilities:
* Serve as the main contact for inquiries from law enforcement and government agencies regarding the National Lottery.
* Conduct initial investigations into suspicious high-tier prize claims.
* Investigate requests for winner data from outside agencies, ensuring compliance with licensing.
* Gather and analyze data to prepare evidence for law enforcement.
* Present evidence in court or proceedings when required.
* Review game designs for security risks.
* Approve data reports and contribute to process improvements.
* Lead investigations into data anomalies and liaise with retailers and players.
* Prepare detailed investigation reports and provide guidance to team members.
* Support security activities at retail premises and during high-profile events.
* Draft and update investigation policies and procedures.
* Coordinate internal investigations involving staff and departments.
* Provide 24/7 on-call security and investigation support.
* Assist in media events and ensure the security of high-value winners.
Skills & Experience:
* Minimum five years' experience in a regulatory, legal, or law enforcement environment.
* At least two investigations conducted.
* Strong presentation and defense skills, with organizational and analytical abilities.
* Proficiency with relevant databases and systems.
* Knowledge of lottery security, retailer responsibilities, and legal procedures.
* Understanding of game rules, security measures, and winner validation.
* Must be able to drive.
