As a Senior Control & Instrumentation (C&I) Engineer, you’ll be the go-to expert for field instrumentation, local control systems, and operational technology (OT). This high‑impact role will use your deep technical knowledge to shape engineering standards, influence regulatory frameworks, and drive innovation across the gas distribution network. You will provide strategic engineering insight, ensure compliance with statutory and company standards, and mentor the next generation of engineers. From supporting asset risk assessments to leading external relationships with regulators and industry bodies, your work will underpin the safety, reliability, and performance of our infrastructure.

 * Engineering Judgement – skilled in interpreting complex technical data, drawings, and standards to make sound decisions.
 * Leadership & Communication – proven ability to influence, mentor and manage across technical and stakeholder groups.
 * Continuous Improvement – track record of identifying and implementing improvements to engineering processes and standards.
