Profile
A highly reputable Water Treatment / Water Hygiene business, providing high quality services to a range of Food & Beverage, Automotive, Manufacturing sites. Due to continued growth, they are now looking to take on an experienced and independent Pre-Commissioning Engineer based in and around the Reading area. The ideal candidate will hold extensive experience working for an established Water Treatment company, working in line with BSRIA guidelines carrying out Pre-Commissioning cleans of LTHW and CHW systems, Flushing of primary / Secondary systems and disinfecting water systems.
Experience & Qualifications
* Will hold extensive experience working within the Water Treatment industry, working as a Pre-Commissioning Engineer, working in line with BSRIA / ACOP L8 guidelines.
* Will have a proven track record of undertaking pre-commissioning cleans to BSRIA standards.
* Will have excellent communication skills and able to update onsite logbooks and PDA Systems.
The Role
* Carrying out Pre-Commissioning chemical cleans of LTHW and CHW systems in line with BSRIA guidelines.
* Undertaking setting of TMVs and Hot Water Returns.
* Sampling water systems and testing water quality.
* Undertaking flushing of primary / secondary systems and fan coil units.
* Checking water flow rates and velocities.
* Ensuring all work is being carried out in line with provided site plan and schematics.
* Ensuring all work is carried out in line with relevant Health and Safety / BSRIA legislations.
* Building and maintaining professional relationships with clients and using PDA system to update reports.
