The Role:
* This position is responsible for supporting the delivery of the Westgate Oxford annual marketing strategy through media, social media, PR, events /promotions that drive fame, footfall & digital growth. In addition, the role will work as part of a project team on centralised multi-site promotions and campaigns across the Landsec portfolio.
* Working with the wider central marketing team the marketing manager role be instrumental in unlocking key consumer insight and delivering on core elements of the marketing plan, it will involve hands-on experience of campaigns and tactical events including strong local engagement of brands, cultural partners, BIDs councils and tourism affiliates.

The Team:
Reporting to the National Planning Manager, the role is working as one of a team of marketing managers within the consumer marketing team .
Location:
You will be required to be based on site 3 days a week where you will be embedded within the centre to maximise the opportunity of the day-to-day memorable moments and experiences through effective marketing. Implement agreed processes for asset level branding/creative (e.g. wayfinding, POS, void dressing), digital, PR, events and brand partner promotions.
What you will be responsible for:
Marketing Strategy & Brand Delivery
* Support execution of the local marketing strategy across campaigns, promotions, PR, events, digital and social media.
* Lead the delivery of on-site brand activity including signage, point-of-sale materials, and branded creative content.
Content Creation & On-Site Engagement
* Based on site three days per week to capture real-time centre moments and develop engaging local stories.
* Coordinate activations and digital storytelling to promote openings, events and day-to-day experiences.
Digital, Website & Editorial Coordination
* Oversee the site’s website and digital content calendar, ensuring all listings and updates are accurate, visually appealing and aligned with brand expectations.
* Collaborate with content and digital marketing teams to brief monthly editorial and manage occupier offers and promotions.
Insight, Analysis & Reporting
* Monitor visitor behaviour, catchment trends, and brand awareness using key metrics like NPS.
* Share insights and contribute to central reporting, supporting marketing strategy and performance tracking.
Retail & PR Partnerships
* Engage with Retail Managers to source local content and drive occupier involvement in campaigns.
* Brief PR and creative agencies on local news and priorities, supporting the delivery of disruptive, standout campaigns.
Stakeholder Collaboration & Community Relations
* Build and maintain relationships with external partners (councils, BIDs, tourist boards, transport organisations) to elevate local relevance and drive cross-promotional opportunities.
Commercial Activation & Campaign Support
* Deliver agreed commercial events and experiential bookings with added local value.
* Support execution of multi-site campaigns and communicate asset priorities through internal forums and partner meetings.
Operational Alignment & Internal Coordination
* Present marketing updates in weekly and monthly asset meetings.
* Respond to enquiries via the central marketing inbox and collaborate across guest experience and community teams.
