Search are supporting the recruitment of a Credit Controller to join a well-established business in West Lothian on a full-time, permanent basis. Reporting to the Credit Control Manager, this role would be well suited to a confident and organised credit control professional who enjoys working in a collaborative environment and is passionate about delivering excellent customer service while maintaining financial accuracy.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Manage new customer account setup and credit checks
* Monitor and chase outstanding balances
* Reconcile customer accounts and resolve discrepancies
* Liaise with branches and customers to resolve queries
* Conduct weekly debt reviews and forecast incoming payments
* Maintain accurate records of account activity and progress
* Raise credit paperwork and issue invoices and statements
* Process incoming payments and upload branch transactions
* Upload delivery notes and send customer statements
Skills and experience you'll ideally have:
* Previous experience managing fast-moving debt
* Understanding of billing systems and account reconciliation
* Excel proficiency
* Friendly and professional telephone manner
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
