What You'll Be Doing
* Act as a key contact point, managing all incoming social care queries via phone and written communication.
* Assess and prioritize cases, identifying urgent needs and making appropriate recommendations.
* Provide advice, guidance, and support to colleagues, ensuring cases are transferred or handled by relevant services efficiently.
* Mentor, coach, and guide team members, sharing best practices to raise professional standards.
* Develop and maintain strong partnerships within and outside the MASH to ensure effective interventions.
About You
* Substantial post-qualifying experience in children’s social care, with deep safeguarding and risk management knowledge.
* Experience in coaching, mentoring, and practice teaching to uplift team standards.
* Effective communication skills to build relationships across teams and with external professionals.
* Strong decision-making skills in complex and sensitive cases.
* Ability to work collaboratively within a multi-agency framework.
