Nestled in the quiet residential suburb of Yokine, the recently rebuilt, (former Stirling Community Hospital) is now the modern and well-appointed Stirling Aged Care Facility. Aegis Stirling offers residential care for 133 reside and utilize state-of-the-art equipment - providing Residents with quality care and easier working conditions for our staff.

About You
You should ideally be an empathetic person who possesses the following qualities:
* A commitment and genuine passion for Aged Care.
* An ability to inspire trust and proactively lead, coach, develop and mentor both unregulated care workers, care, and lifestyle staff.
Within this role you will be a champion of high quality, safe and effective nursing that aligns with the resident preference and best practice by:
* Undertaking clinical, social and self-care assessments.
* Anticipate residents’ changing health needs and initiate further assessments or referrals.
* Support residents and their families by addressing their queries, comments, suggestions, or concerns.
You will be responsible for compliance:
* Ensuring all care documentations are completed with the appropriate strategies implemented.
* Identifying and managing clinical risk in the aged care setting.
Your role within the team would involve:
* Supporting, coaching, monitoring, and mentoring the unregulated care workers.
* Providing support to the Clinical Nurse Manager and clinical expertise to the care team.
We need you to possess the following:
* A current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
* Clinical experience and ability to manage risk in aged care.
* A sound understanding of Aged Care Quality Standards and quality management systems.
* Full Australian working rights and be able to pass a national police clearance.
