About the Role
As a Trainee Nursing Assistant at HC-One, you will be a role model embodying kindness in our Memory Care, Nursing, Residential and Specialist care homes. You will join our night shift team, working 4 shifts per week with alternate weekends. You’ll help create care plans that give residents choice and independence, and you’ll support wellbeing in all resident interactions.
This role involves tasks such as administering medicines, wound care, catheter care and other direct clinical tasks under supervision of qualified nurses. You will also contribute to safeguarding and reporting concerns as required.
Responsibilities
* Support delivery of resident care plans with a person-centred approach.
* Assist with nursing tasks delegated by a qualified nurse, medicines administration, wound care and related duties.
* Monitor resident wellbeing and respond to changes in condition under supervision.
* Attend safeguarding training and report concerns appropriately.
What You Need to Qualify
* Level 3 Diploma S/NVQ in Adult Care (or working towards).
* Minimum 2 years’ experience in Health & Social Care as a Senior Carer or similar leadership role, with experience around medicines administration and leading a shift.
* Knowledge of person-led care planning and relevant regulatory requirements.
