Product Delivery Office (PMO) Lead (Band 8a)
Location: Remote/home based, with travel as required.
About the Role:
Join our NHS Product Team, the Product Delivery Office Lead will establish and manage the Product Delivery Office function, ensuring robust coordination, governance, and reporting across all product delivery streams. You’ll drive best practice in delivery management and provide critical support to senior leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and continuously improve the Product Delivery Office function.
* Line manage and mentor the PDO Coordinator.
* Champion best practices in delivery coordination, risk management, and reporting.
* Serve as the primary point of coordination for cross-cutting product delivery activities.
* Chair and manage the Product Assessment Committee (PAC).
* Develop and maintain governance frameworks and reporting mechanisms.
* Provide accurate, timely progress reports and delivery insights to senior management.
About You:
* Proven experience in PMO leadership, ideally in product or programme delivery.
* Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
* Ability to design and implement governance and reporting frameworks.
* Experience in mentoring and developing team members.
* NHS experience is essential
