We have a fantastic opportunity for Motor Technical Manager to be based in the UK.
An excellent opportunity has arisen in our Motor team. We are recruiting a Technical Manager dealing with large loss motor claims, leading a team of large loss handlers and providing technical insight across the motor department.
We are looking for someone with excellent communication and listening skills, the ability to impart information, and maintain accurate data. Proven skills in developing and maintaining close working relationships, both internally and externally, are essential.
This role is perfect for those who crave variety, enjoy problem-solving, and want to build a rewarding career in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities and Requirements
The skills you will have when you apply:
* Extensive experience managing motor claims from cradle to grave, including cases over £100,000.
* Strong technical expertise in motor claims, including litigation, liability investigations, reserving, and caselaw (e.g. credit hire, PI).
* Proven ability to lead large loss case conferences and develop detailed claim strategies.
* Skilled in auditing, delivering technical workshops, and driving continuous improvement.
* Effective people manager with experience leading large loss teams and meeting monthly targets.
* Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to explain complex issues and negotiate fair outcomes.
* Committed to professional development, working towards Cert CILA qualification.
