Role details: 42 hours per week (Mon–Fri 8am–6pm, Saturday morning on rota). Salary: £38,000 OTE (including £32,000 basic depending on experience plus bonus).
Lookers Mercedes Benz of Tonbridge is recruiting an experienced and dedicated Service Advisor to join our Aftersales Team, which consists of 5 Service Advisors, 11 Vehicle Technicians and our Service Manager, Jason Hallam. The dealership has recently invested to transform into a state-of-the-art showroom.
As a Service Advisor, you will benefit from continuous training opportunities through our in-house brand development and by learning from the current Service Manager.
Responsibilities
* Booking MOTs, services and other repair work for customers
* Advising customers about warranty cover and upselling additional parts / accessories
* Liaising with the Aftersales department to organise and schedule appointments based on workload
* Managing a high-volume of customers daily, plus telephone and online booking queries
* Informing customers of turnaround times and maintaining effective communication while the car is in the workshop
* Maintaining accurate customer records and updating systems for new bookings
Qualifications
You should bring energy, a warm personality and a passion for delivering a first-class customer experience. Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain technical information clearly are essential. Experience with Kerridge / ADP is advantageous, as is knowledge of other dealer systems. You should be a strong team player who can also work independently. Experience in a similar automotive customer service role is preferred.
