Gas Supervisor - Social Housing

Location: North London
Salary: £45,000 - £55,000
Contract: Temp-to-Perm
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Gas Supervisor to join a leading contractor within the Social Housing sector covering North London.

Reporting to the Gas Manager, you will be responsible for supervising a team of Gas Engineers and Apprentices, ensuring all servicing, maintenance, and installation works are completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities

1. Supervise Gas Engineers and Apprentices across domestic gas works
2. Support the Gas Manager with technical and operational duties
3. Carry out quality inspections and audits on engineers and subcontractors
4. Ensure compliance with Gas Safe regulations and health & safety standards
5. Attend client and health & safety meetings where required
6. Assist with resident and client queries and complaints
7. Carry out servicing, repairs, commissioning, and maintenance work when necessary

Requirements

8. Full Domestic ACS qualifications including MET1
9. CDMMA1 qualification
10. Previous experience within Social Housing
11. Experience supervising or mentoring engineers
12. Strong understanding of gas compliance and health & safety
13. Good IT skills including Microsoft Excel and Word

Desirable

14. Gas auditing experience
15. SMSTS qualification
16. LPG, Oil, or Commercial Gas qualifications
